Great location, close to everything you want to see and do in the city. The breakfast and room service were both outstanding! The staff was so friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The decor was impressive and the green area was so lovely.
The room was unbearably hot during the day, but the air conditioning was so noisy that sleeping with it on would have been impossible. the room was small and impractical.

We recently stayed at the peaceful and secluded Aratinga Inn for 3 nights. Rennie and German were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even providing us with a UK adaptor for our phones. The room had gorgeous views and the tropical sounds were soothing. We loved the daily changing afternoon coffee, tea, fresh juices, and homemade cakes in the garden. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed daily visits from hummingbirds. Rennie's recommendations and local knowledge made our stay even better. Highly recommended!
We recommend this hotel.

The location of this property is fantastic, with lovely gardens surrounding it and only a short walk to the town center. The rooms are well-sized and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast is delicious, and afternoon tea with homemade cakes is a great touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for tours, walks, and restaurants.
The property lacks some of the amenities that other hotels in the area provide, such as a pool or gym.

This hotel is incredibly well-organized and comfortable. The owner, Rennie, goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. She even surprised my girlfriend with birthday gifts! Despite the rain during our first few days, Rennie recommended activities and made sure we had a fantastic time. The hotel's location is OUTSTANDING, and they provide a travel guide as well. The book with island recommendations is a gem, and the afternoon tea with a different homemade cake each day is a delightful touch. We absolutely loved our stay here and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we come back!

My stay at Aratinga Inn was absolutely delightful. The beautiful tropical surroundings created a peaceful and serene atmosphere throughout my entire visit. The attention to detail in every aspect of the inn, from the spotlessly clean rooms to the delicious breakfast and afternoon tea, truly exceeded my expectations. Rennie, the host, was incredibly helpful and provided me with fantastic recommendations for exploring the island. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. Despite a few minor limitations due to the island location, such as limited storage space in the smaller rooms, I highly recommend Aratinga Inn for a wonderful and memorable stay in Ilha Grande. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I will definitely be returning in the future.
